Wow, I can't believe I've been on DA for two months already. Time flies!

I'm having a lot of fun being part of this community. I've gone from scrounging lineart found on Google for practice to discovering that there are whole communities dedicated to people who make lineart and are amazing enough to invite other people to colour them! (Yes, I was/am very sheltered from the art community before this.) As someone who has no grasp of that aspect of making art, I just wanted to thank all the lineartists (is that a word? colourists is, so... ) for sharing your work! It's a very small thank you from one still-learning colourist but you're all very appreciated!

Thanks to DA (and a gazillion Youtube speedpaint videos) I have conquered my fear of new programs and finally tried SAI. And though I will always be a PS7 girl at heart, I do very much enjoy playing with SAI and it's making art a lot easier for me!

I also discovered there's a stats page and HOW HAVE 200 PEOPLE LOOKED AT MY STUFF? And people kept giving me llamas and now my llama has a cape and I'm laughing to look at it even though I still have no idea what (if anything) that's supposed to mean!

Can I ask you all a question? I've noticed lots of people have cute little mascots as their deviant IDs! For those of you who didn't draw them yourself, what's the right way to go about getting one? Is it like a commission? Or like a trade? Sorry if this is a really obvious or dumb question...
